There are no set bid numbers like in sorority recruitment.
"In general, rule of thumb, there will be more focus on recruitment in the Fall. The recruitment chair will be at this strongest with knowledge and you would know how many people have left. The amount of bids given out can vary so much. You can have x number graduate in the spring and give out x bids or you can want the fraternity to grow and give out more. There is no set quota or really anyway of knowing from campus to campus. If the person is a good fit for the fraternity, no matter what time, they would have a hard time turning them away."
Quote from my boyfriend who is an alum of a fraternity.
There is no humanly possible way of knowing. Our best guess is that fraternity rush is going to be more focused in the Fall, however, if you fit really well they could bid you. If their recruitment sucked in the Fall, they could bid you. If they want to become a bigger chapter, they could bid you. There isn't a solid way of knowing.
Go through see how it goes.
