Jobs in Greek Life

I'm sorry if this has been posted before (I did use the search feature).

I was curious if there are any great resources on how to get a job in Greek Life, more specifically, becoming a Director of Greek Life.

Thank you.

Most require that you have a Masters in Higher Ed or Student Affairs. I know in the programs I looked at, the Greek Life internship is often a coveted position. Get experience with that, and also keep aware of trends in the Greek world (recruitment, risk management, etc.). Experience is key.

Would being a Panhellenic delegate for my chapter help me out with experience as an undergrad?

It's good for your resume and will be a good talking point in interviews, more likely grad school assistantship interviews. The experience you get in grad school working with chapters will be more beneficial and desired.

Towson University is looking for an Asst. Director of Greek Life. Requires a Masters, but not that you be a member of a fraternity or sorority.

I'm sure any experience would be a plus, but other factors are probably more important.

I'm sure volunteering with your own org would look great on your resume, too.

I don't get how random trolls choose which thread to post in.
This one is from 2010 so it wasn't on the homepage so how did it get chosen???
