I started getting recs out this week for my crew and more are getting their info to me shortly. My crew is UGA, Ole Miss, Samford and Georgia College and State University so far. I may have one at Georgia Tech and one at Mississippi State. This year, I have the most at UGA. All great girls! Can't wait to see where they find their homes!!

Just an aside - I've been informed by various alumnae that they can't let me know where my recs end up pledging because of privacy concerns.
PNMs - PLEASE consider letting your alumnae panhellenics/rec writers know where you end up pledging!

I guess you wouldn't need to if your letters were from an alum group, but it might be really nice especially if a friend of the family or a teacher wrote a letter for you. A note to the alum group of the chapter where you pledged would be nice, too. I sent a note to my hometown alum group, and they would invite me to collumnae events when I went home for Christmas. ESPECIALLY if you get recs from an alumnae group I would send a note/e-mail/smoke signal. In the case of our alumnae panhellenic we compile all the results for our girls. PLEASE ladies - let those rec writers know!
