The best advice I can give you is to not be discouraged and definitely go out to rush again when the time comes. In order to receive a bid from this fraternity you must show all the brothers your good qualities. So basically make sure you get to meet all the brothers present at rush, converse and make sure they know your name and you know theirs. Just getting yourself out there and being yourself is key to the recruitment process from the standpoint of a rushee.
And like I said, just because you did not receive a bid the first time around, do not feel discouraged. One of my brothers actually did not receive a bid the first two times he went out to rush, but eventually got one the third time around. He later went on to hold various positions in the house too, including: Scholarship Chairman, Annotator, Recruitment Chairman and served the past year as Vice President.
