I didn't say crossbreeders were "more responsible". What I did say that crossbreeding can be done responsibly.
As for health and longevity, every single scientific paper and piece of research that's been published in this area has shown crossbreds are both healthier and longer lived than purebreds (I've posted several references above). This isn't anything new or revolutionary; it's just not what purebred hobby breeders like to hear.
Just stating the facts. As I said, if you have any published research that indicates otherwise I'd be more than happy to read it.
