Austin Powers Goldmember...and Beyonce

i'm guessing i saw a different movie than the rest of everyone else because i was thoroghly disappointed. i am SUCH a fan of the first 2 movies (if anyone wants to buy them for me for my birthday, holla at me) but this one SUCKED!!!!

fortunately, beyonce didn't have a whole lot of talking to do, but the talking she did...i found myself looking at my line sister (who fell asleep during the movie) like "wtf??!!!" i know her character is to be an exagerrated take on blaxploitation characters but i wanted to tell her "SHUT UP BABY! YEAH!!"

and the skin thing really disgusted me. goldmembers character was quite pointless

i guess the austin powers thing has run its course which is disappointing because i really really like the first two movies. it seemed like they were trying to cram in too many guest appearaces and the plot got lost between that and dr. evil (which is what the movie should have been called)

I thought the movie was good overall, but the ending sucked...I didn't like that at all. But I guess now it gives the son something to do.

Beyonce was aight...all she really did was be around and look cute. Maybe they could have given her a little more to say and do during the movie.

A lot of the scenes cracked me up though!!! For those who have yet to see it, the "Hard Knock Life" scene will floor you. I loved the cameo appearances.

Overall the movie wasn't that bad. I'd give a grade of "B" on it.

The movie was just to funny. I loved the beginning with Tom Cruise. I give Beyonce on a scale of 1 to 10 a 6. She did okay for this to be her first movie.

I saw the movie today and I thought it was good! Beyonce did an excellent job acting and there were waaaay too many funny scenes in that movie.

I have to admit, I bit the bullet and went to see this movie. It was a bit slow @ first, but midway in the scenes with Mini-me had meROLLING . I shouldn't have wasted ANY money on it, but I will say I enjoyed parts of it.

If Bestankaye would have said Suga one more time though......

I did rent it a few weeks ago. It was okay. Beyonce did okay. It's not like I see her being nominated for an Oscar.

The skit to "Hard Knock Life" was funny. I remember Mike Meyers saying his wife wrote the rap.
