UCLA sororities

Im brand new here!! I had some questions as a girl who will Rush at UCLA in about 2 weeks!! I don't have any close friends in sororities and I am the first in my family to go to University so i feel this is the perfect place to ask my questions. So here I go with my questions

How do the sororities see transfer students rushing/pledging?

Im not really a party girl, I just want to find a good group of classy girls talk hang with, talk with, i want to make life long friendships. Can i actually have this or are the sororities mainly for partying? Also I have a boyfriend of 3 years, I still find him quite amazing and I dont want a new boyfriend or to be single - will the sorority girls support this?

Lastly, what can i look forward to as a sister of any of the UCLA sororities?

Also, I dont want to single any houses out and I want to go into rush open-minded, but Kappa Alpha Theta around the US seems to be pretty classy and nice, what are the "thetas" like at UCLA? What are the other houses like?

Lastly, what can i look forward to as a sister of any of the UCLA sororities?

We do not answer questions about sorority reputations here
UCLA has a very strong Greek system and all the sororities are good

UCLA is quite accepting of pledging transfers due to the large number of CC transfers. How you conduct your social life is strictly up to you.

A lot of chapters used to not take any transfers and only freshmen, but a couple years ago they instituted an upperclassman quota. Now plenty of transfers end up in all of them. Good luck.
