Braves game, May 25th
That's the Atlanta Braves, not West Georgia, lol.
Some of us are going to meet at Underground (plans so far) at 4 p.m. at Mick's.
We will buy tickets at the park, that way, if you don't show up, we won't have to scalp the ticket, lol.
Doubt there will be a sell out the way they are playing, but hopefully we can all sit together!
PM if you want to join us.
LIEP,
Lynn

I looked on www.atlantabraves.com and figured about $12-18, no taxes included, lol. Not sure if we can get all the seats together so that way if we "meet and eat" beforehand we can still get to know each other.

Mick's at Underground
75 Upper Alabama St., SW 404 525 2825
It's actually IN Underground, not on top.
Underground Atlanta is on Peachtree Street across from 5 Points MARTA station, but there is an entrance from MARTA that goes right into UG..got down about 200 feet and Mick's is on the Left..kinda at an "intersection".

LisaF and I finally got to meet!! Another AGD from Alpha Mu but living in Atlanta for years joined us. Kinda tricky finding parking but Lisa and Luann took MARTA cause it's Smarta ((okay that's their ad ploy.)
(I didn't know that Mick's had a bar on the outside/upper part of UG so I truly hope no one was waiting for us!!!) I re-read up above where I had said it was in UG, whew!!))
Micks was pretty good (the chicken salad didn't make it home, water from the cooler's ice got into it, lol.)
Since we got there about 40 minutes before the games, we got the WAY UP SEATS, yep, very top row, Cincy fans and pigeons on the other side of the stairs.
Hubby and Luann were able to have their lllonng hot dogs (21 varieties to choose from) with all sorts of stuff on it. Me likes the basic ketchup and mustard. Lisa was smart..she went for the Dippin Dots ice cream, lol.
Braves lost (breaking my attending winning games streak), but hey, meeting sisters was great, weather beautiful....hopefully we can do it again later in the season if there isn't a strike.
BTW, the Atlanta Braves peanuts were $1.95 at Publix and $4 at the stadium. Coke in plastic cup was $4, bottled water $3.... The only vendor brave enough to make up that far only had beer, peanuts and frozen lemonade.
Off to the pool!!

Lynn, Tom,(and Luann too),
Thanks for showing me a great time. I just got off the phone with my parents to tell them what a great time I had and I got home safely. It was so nice to meet you,Tom and Luann in person. I thought our seats were kind of neat cause we got a great view of the city. Yep, we were way up there! Anyway, thanks again. Lisa

Wendy, Hi. I was hoping you make it in for the game. Sorry I missed you. We can certainly go again another time. I'd like to go another game sometime in the future.
It was soooo cute. Just before the game, every single little leager from Gainesville was in a parade. Also, I spent Mon. just 20 min. away from you. I was on the Lake in Buford! I was that close! Boy, has that area changed since I went to school there. So much new building there. I guess with the Mall of Ga. nearby, it was bound to happen.
Also, I'm doing Jr. Circle in Birmingham. What kinds of questions do you have? Lisa
