I'd honestly be pretty disappointed if I was selected for Survivor and then found out I was going to Canada. It would seem a bit like Survivor: Upstate New York to me. Not that I still wouldn't do it - I'd jump at the chance to be on Survivor, regardless of circumstances...but it wouldn't be the same as a far-off, exotic location.

ETA: Just checked, and In their warmest month, August, the average high is 61. 61 is not conducive to chicks in bikinis. I think that rules that out. I don't think the producers would agree to leave out the bikini factor.

Well, then I was wrong about Jane. FWIW, The Wiki has the same thing, though I have no idea where they got the info.

I did think last night that after his answer to Quitter NaOnka's question, Jud (I'll go back to that now) just might have wrapped up her vote, despite her attitude toward him most of the time. (At least most of the time that we saw. I saw an interview with him where he said they also had friendlier moments we didn't see -- that it was a love/hate sort of thing.)

And interestingly, in that same interview you quoted, Jud says that it was his understanding that Alina and Brenda both said they voted for Chase because they didn't think he would get any other votes. Brenda certainly did seem to hesitate when she cast her vote.

She sure did! I thought for sure she had voted for Sash, but was wanting to change her vote at the last minute. I wonder when their vote is considered "official". Is it once they've revealed it to the camera? Once they've put it in the voting vessel?

If the interview is correct, I'm surprised that Nay and PurpleKelly voted for Fabio. I guess I should stop being surprised by anything Nay does/did, though. But PurpleKelly? She was such a dingbat, and she seemed to be such a fan of Sash. I really expected that she would throw her vote his way.

I took it more as "Fabio's going to win anyway, but I don't want Chase to go without any votes so it's safe if I vote for him."

BTW, in interviews, Chase said both Alina and Brenda told him they voted for him because he impressed them at the final TC. So it sounds like either Alina and Brenda were just trying to be nice to Chase when they talked to him or to Jud when they talked to him.

Reading up on TWOP, it seems Sash had Purple Kelly in his pocket and had asked her to try and turn the jury in his favour, but when the bribe thing came out at Tribal Council (when Jane was voted out), they actually stopped filming, and left it as a he/she said incident - apparently Purple Kelly found out Sash was playing her after Jane made the jury.

In her interview at Reality News Online, Jane refers to this, but without specifics:

RNO: I’m already getting a number of people asking me why you voted against Sash instead of Holly, just in case the quickly-hatched possible plan worked?

Jane: Because of what Sash did to me prior to me leaving the game. Some of that wasn’t shown on TV so I can’t discuss it. But the jury knows about it. I was just letting Holly and Chase know that he’s a snake in the grass, so don’t trust him if they didn’t already know that.

Interesting to know what it was, assuming the report is correct.
