I anticipate switching eventually and still buying hardcopies for books i really want to keep vs the fluff I read over and over again.

*sigh* No, even if I was going to buy something from apple it wouldn't be a phone or an iPad, I honestly think they're kind of stupid and don't really see why I want a larger screen that'll run 'apps' instead of a netbook or something.
Either way, it's not really comparable to an ebook reader for a lot of reasons.
