a blank canvas....

I do have an 'electron blue' Honda CR-V, but it has no 'nalia on it.
When I was a teenager and looked forward to having a car, I dreamed about all the funny bumper stickers I'd put on it. Now that I have a car I don't have anything on it. I do have a rear plate frame that I need to attach.

But, speaking of 'nalia on cars. When I do see a sorhor in traffic I try to drive up close, see if I know her and wave at her, or at least blow and wave from the other side of the street. .

Constance2002,

Another great Sigma moment! Yes, it truly is that serious because we are the keepers of the Rhoyal blue and Gold!

THANKS!!

......everyone was looking at us..like, "is it really that serious"?
Yes!! I was leaving work yesterday to go to the bank. Walking out to the car (with no para besides a small lavalier around my neck), a lady asked me was I a SGRho. I was like yeah, she told me she was too (spring 88--UT-Martin) and we were out there hugging in the middle of the lot/street. She said that she saw the car (I had backed in so my plate was facing the front) and got geeked because there aren't many of us here--I hadn't made it to the car yet so it really wasn't obvious that it was my car, and I doubt that she saw the lavalier from that distance.

I just happened to look around when I got in the car to leave, and my dad (who I work for) was looking at me like "Who in the world were you out in the middle of the street hugging like that?" So yeah, it really is that serious!!

My dad laughs at me b/c I have a category in my palm pilot for Greeks, and another one for Sigma. Whenever I meet someone, I try to add their info into my palm. You never know when you're going to need to find the Soror who has the knack for .............

What happened to the other posts in this thread? Cause I know I posted in here back then.

Anyway, Saturday before last I was barely standing in line to take the Praxis II. I was exhausted from a week of working, studying, going to class when I hear a voice saying Hey Soror. It was another teacher taking the test too. I was at U of MD-Baltimore County (with my T-shirt on of course). We make small talk about teaching, how exhausted we are, and because I had the nerve to be on Howard's campus the night before for Alpha Phi Chapter knowing full well I had this test at 7:30 a.m. the next morning.

I already have little blue lights on my tires and I'm about to get the blue ground kit and some little lights to go my wipers.
Now THAT'S sad!!
I feel so much better after reading this because I have a front and rear license plate frame and a mini-paddle on my car as well and some of my friends were clowning me about having too much nalia on my car. I was like dang! I will only get to be a NEO once, can't I just enjoy it for a little while?

Don't feel bad soror. I have a front and back plate, and one of those strips in my back window that spells out Sigma Gamma Rho.

What I REALLY want is the Missouri SGRho license plate. I saw one at Central Regionals last year, and I was . GA needs to join the bandwagon!

EEEEEEEEEEEYIIIIIPPPP, sorors! My Sigma moment...wanna hear it, here it goes:

I was working in St. Thomas last year around this time and I had on my SGRho gear, when I saw a big, Blue van approaching with an SGRho plate on the front. The taxi I was in was like a trolley, so I hung my body out the car and called her as loudly as I could and she almost hit me for trying to greet me as well. Because I was in a trolley, I could not stop, but it was beautiful to be so far from home but so close to family. We are so lovely and so blessed!

OneLove.

I was leaving my office with one of my co-workers to go grab some caffine to make it through the afternoon. As we're walking down the street I ran into a neo from a local chapter. Of course I gave her a big hug and said hello. My co-worker was like, ummm, do you know her??? I said, kind of, but it doesn't matter if I know her or not, b/c she's one of my Sisters.

Sigma To the Rescue

Okay Sorhors,

I had to tell my bluetiful sisters this story, I know ya'll will understand.

I was driving to work today minding my business when all of a sudden a huge orange bucket flew off of a truck in front of me. I tried my dam*est not to drive over it, but of course I did and these sparks started flying from up under my car. So I was like "I'm going to blow this car up kill myself" so I pulled over and got out to take a look. (and yes, it was the hottest day in the last two years here in DC..so you know I was right irritated )

Anyway, I was trying everything to get this bucket from under my car and it was really stuck so I sat and thought for a minute. Then I looked in the backseat and saw my cane that I had taken to a picnic this summer. And yes I used that cane to beat that bucket from up under my car. I REALLY didn't want to, but I had to.

After the whole ordeal, I thought to myself ""SIGMA IS ALWAYS THERE WHEN I REALLY NEED IT"

You used your cane?! Now that's funny!! I'm just sorry that I couldn't assist you, Soror cause it sure is hot, isn't it? And now my air is not working so well. At least we are cooling off for the weekend. This is so unbearable!!
