She did spell "excepted" correctly.

The average GPA for medical school entrants is in the 3.5 - 3.6 range. Given that you currently have a 2.5, and that your most recent semester was a 2.0, medical school is not realistic for you. You might want to investigate other career options such as nursing, physical therapy, physician's assistant, etc. Even then, your grades would still be an obstacle.
Your college should have a career counseling and placement center. Schedule an appointment with a counselor, take your transcript, and talk about what you hope to achieve. The counselor can guide you from there.

Not likely...the same GPA is needed for these careers.

This is why I'm glad I receive the notifications to my email. Looks like somebody changed their mind about posting the above message.
I can safely say that everyone here has an education and knows about being in a sorority or fraternity. Some people who have responded have been advisors and national committee chairs.
You volunteered to come to GreekChat to share information about yourself and your GPA.

Last semester just kind of hit me hard...but what can i do. So, if i get turned down this semester because of my grades...so be it. I will be back whenever they rush again, because i know that this is for me. Anyways, i told myself that...it doesn't hurt to try and see what happens. It would hurt to not try, and wonder what could have been.

First of all, don't get huffy- you threw the first punch. You were quoted, your question was answered, and suddenly you got a wedgie.
Secondly, the rest of your post clearly indicates that you made the decision before you ever posted here asking for advice.
Which leads us to believe that you are either headstrong or a troll. If it's merely the former, I wish you good luck.
