It ended with Earp going on a drunken rant and calling Jen the Viper Tongue; I nearly peed my pants that night.

that shit was hiiilarious. esp the viper tongue, Earp telling people to learn how to spell (really talking out of his "ass whole" there)...etc.

This thread really freaked me out. I was just coming back to GC after taking time away from it during grad school and boy oh boy did a lot happen in 2 years. People started using code names in recruitment story threads and Earp went from "grandpa that can't type but usually has something worthwhile to add" to "OMG CREEPY STALKER RUN RUN RUN."
I can sympathize with others about how incredibly scary Earp was there, and how incredibly scary the BA situation became, as well. It just all blows my mind...
