They've been at it. There are just more mods now to take care of it. As I recall, they get really bad in the fall because of all the live streaming of football games.

Yesterday morning before 7est, I had deleted over 30. This morning, about half that by about the same time.

The force is strong with the spammers this weekend. I must've deleted over 100 between yesterday afternoon and now. I wish deleting them would send lightning bolts thru the interwebz to the hive to destroy their servers.

I was able to eliminate most of them in "Greek Life" while watching a couple of my undergrads play lacrosse. The spammers really hit today.
