A friend's 5 year old son is unresponsive in the ICU. If no response by tomorrow he will be declared brain dead. Even the MDs told the family to go home and pray because they need a miracle.

No one should ever have to deal with that. My heart is breaking for that sweet family and precious boy.

A very belated thank you to all of you. It is greatly appreciated. My brother was able to finally get into a specialist who has improved his quality of life dramatically.

This is absolutely heart wrenching. Prayers for healing for this boy and his family.

Oh how awful.

I remember how I felt when the doctors at the hospital where my mother was a patient in the ICU suggested that my father should have her transferred to the palliative care unit. And she led a good, full life.

It hurt hard when I had to bury my mother. Nobody should have to bury a child.

Five years ago, I asked you to pray for the safe delivery of my niece, Fiona Grace (called Kitty).
Last night, Texas Equusearch recovered her body from the marina in which she had drowned.

My heart is not broken; it is shattered.

SWTXBelle, there are no words I can offer right now that would put the pieces of your broken heart back together. All we can do is wrap our loving arms around you.

I need positive prayers for strength.
My husbands uncle passed away yesterday in which I am okay.

My Aunt (my moms sister) is visiting Portugal had a catastrophic hemorrhagic stroke. My poor mom is emotional and I am not there (CA) to comfort her. I hope she makes it.

Thank you so much.

The bleeding stopped and she went into emergency surgery. Now it's a waiting game.

My conversation with my mom was not positive.
Me: Being very positive.
Mom: Comes out of no where, you know my sister is going to die.
Me: Dead silence for a minute. No mom, we need to stay positive and pray.

Needless to say I did not sleep well.

I’ve found a large and painful lump in my breast, I’m Jewish, I think of the worst immediately. My mother, aunts, grandmothers, two of my sisters, and several of my cousins have survived breast cancer. I find myself unable to tell my husband as I’ll immediately think of what will happen to my children if it is cancer.

I’ve made an emergency appointment for tomorrow morning to have it checked out. I would be immensely grateful if you all would keep me in your prayers as I figure this out.

You are doing the right thing to get it checked out right away. Listen, even if it is breast cancer, this isn't 1956. Breast cancer is treatable. You even said so yourself when you said that several of your family members have survived. They key is to go into all of this with a positive attitude. That will carry you far in your health.

I am praying for you to have courage and peace in your spirit as you head to your appointment and that the doctor would quickly be able to determine what the lump is.
