Prayers for all those in need..

Would to add our good friend's mother to your prayer lists. She has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor, currently in radiation treatments but future looks bleak.

Of course, prayers to everyone recovering from Sandy last night.

I can use some prayers, karma, luck, whatever you've got. I am supposed to fly United from PIT to Newark, then Newark to Glasgow to give my first ever professional speech. I was able to "voluntarily redirect" this morning. So I called, and the guy said that there aren't any options for me that would get me there on time-- even diverting to DUBAI. So I'm going to hope and pray that on Thursday things actually happen..as of right now, my flights are "on". Any extra prayers for a nice strong drying sun, speedy recovery of electricity, and on time flights would be super appreciated!!

Starting Monday, I've been really tired but I figured I just had a small cold that I could sleep off. Last night, I went to a haunted house and I had to leave because my body was in too much pain to move. I went to the doctor today, who dismissed it as a bad cold and sinus infection. However, I can barely walk because my muscles are so sore. Please send good thoughts my way, with work and school I can't afford to be ill much longer.

The good news is that my friend's baby is out of the NICU and home. She wasn't breathing well for awhile but she's good. However:

1. I haven't heard from my friend in NJ and his phone is still off.
2. My other friend just came home to find that she was robbed. She just said "They took everything." She's devastated but grateful they didn't hurt her dog.

adpimiz? Have you had a mosquito bite? Your symptoms sound like my symptoms when I had a mild case of West Nile.

I'm asking for prayers for a young lady whose mother was found murdered in her home yesterday. The young lady is a freshman at my alma mater and graduated with my daughter. Her mom was shot, no signs of forced entry, but signs of a struggle. They are questioning mom's boyfriend and mom's ex-husband as "persons of interest". I can't imagine being 18, losing my mom that way and having my dad being investigated as the possible perpetrator

Hmm, no I have not had a mosquito bite. If I still feel this bad tomorrow, I'm going to try a different doctor.

adpimiz - my boyfriend had the same thing a few years ago, if it doesn't clear up very soon, get a second opinion.


My boyfriend's just heard his dad has a benign brain tumor. They are trying to find out if it can be shrunk by taking medication. If not, he will have to have surgery since it's pressing on his eye nerves and hypothalamus.

AGDee, what a terrible story. I couldn't imagine losing my mother, especially my freshman year of college, especially in such a brutal way. My mother is my best friend! I'll be praying for the young lady and that justice is served.

And her dad is one of the "persons of interest". So like, you don't even know if your dad is the one who did it? I cannot imagine her pain
