Our late Soror Mary Thelma Washington was honored recently. Story on page 10 of this week's Jet Magazine. Past IGB Annie Lawrence Brown was present.

As an aspiring CPA, my hat is off to her.

Side note: My firm participates in the ACAP (Accounting Careers Awareness Program) whereby we have a group of (primarily) black high school students and have them shadow us for half a day to acquaint them with what public accounting is really like. This article in Jet will make a GREAT icebreaker.
