i do agree that there are times that the race card is "thrown around" a little too much, but in the gates case, racial understones were present in my own opinion. (to what extent is obviously debateable to varying degrees judging by the comments here).

i also think that as minorities (like als463 i am a minority too) we need to recognize which situations warrant action form our communities, and which do not. instead of crying discrimination. especially when the "offending party (ies) are white.

and oj totally did it.

It's sad when someone misspells their own username. I wonder if it's supposed to be boobie or bobbie. ?? (I guess dumbass was already taken.)

Well, if you don't want it to keep coming back to life then don't post.

It's a Belgian Pale Ale brewed by Molson. It can be had very easily in most places in North America; it tends not to show up in specialty places. Many women I know put a slice of orange in it.

I think it's funny that they try to hide the fact that it's brewed by Molson Coors, out of fear that it will hurt the beer's reputation.

It's a decent beer to have every once in a while, if the bar/restaurant doesn't serve anything better.

To make both men feel more at home, I think I would have chosen to drink a Sam Adams

There are so often bars where there isn't anything better! How does that work, exactly?

There is an "Obamanator" beer at the Wynkoop Brewery in Denver. It's tasty!

I know, it's annoying - I don't think Blue Moon is bad, really, but if I'm going to spend 4, 5, or 6 bucks (or more) for a beer , I just want it to be something better. At least give me a Sam Adams seasonal or something like that. Plus there's the problem that I then decide to go the "whiskey on the rocks" route instead, and that just adds up to a bit of a longer night.

Boston (especially) and CT, luckily, have a bunch of bars with fairly good beer selections.
