Best. Thread. Ever.

It was already in the top 5, but 33girl's post about the dented nipple bumped it to the top spot.

I hope all goes as planned for Barbie with the Mu Alphas!

I have never posted in one of these threads, but this one is the best. I have been collecting vintage Barbies for about 15 years. Here is a picture of Midge dressed in the Sorority Meeting outfit from 1962. She has been on my shelf in this outfit for at least 10 years. I even made her a tiny little pin. So if the Midge in this story doesn't make it, at least mine did. As you can see, she is standing next to Ken in his Fraternity Meeting outfit.

^^^ Love these dolls! But I am a little nervous for Ken's huge zipper...which brings me back to the post regarding Ken's questionable gender identity and a whole host of other comments that come to mind...

I'm crying over here! This one is going to be classic.

I don't remember madame alexanders but I feel like there will be a twist, another thing that will hopefully steer Barbie towards American Girls!

Barbie's rushing at a competitive SEC school. Has gone through the first set of parties, and after a hilarious account of likening the houses to different types of dolls, including some thing to be revealed later (maybe) has ranked the Madame Alexanders, the wealthy, classy ladies that Barbie just KNOWS she's getting a bid from, and the American Girls, the...average, girl-next-door, not quite like Barbie but could be types.

There's some questionable hearsay on Ken's manhood, but hasn't that always been the case.

Oh! Lol. Surprisingly I missed that novel on page 1. Its heinous to read on a BB.

I just got it (and I'm so LOLing over here), but some bollock like "blah blah Barbie totally cut in on my daughter Angel's rush and as a batisht crazy helimom... Imma be batisht crazy."

Were supposed to believe that SCM knows the "truth" and it will be revealed.

Whatevs. Barbie so wins at life. Can we get the next installment plz?

SuperChopperMom does EVERYTHING for her Dear Little Daughter Angel who grew up in Barbie and Midge's ever-present shadow despite SCM doing everything to groom Angel into the perfect child in hopes of making her the perfect PNM. SCM applied to her alma mater on Angel's behalf as well as a safety school up north (which started classes and recruitment AFTER SEC school's recruitment ended, just in case all didn't go well with recruitment down south). SCM and Angel never dreamed that Barbie and Midge would stick around the south and go to SEC school, but in their worst nightmares, that's exactly what happened. But SCM wasn't worried--after having delivered gifts to every national top tier sorority on SEC school's campus and signing them from her DLD Angel, securing multiple recs for every chapter, even the bottom feeder ones, etc. etc., she just knew Angel would have the perfect recruitment. But after things didn't turn out so well, Angel ended up going through recruitment at Safety Northern School and pledging a nationally top-ranked sorority there. SCM just knows that DLD Angel will be able to transfer down to SEC school after a year and affiliate with the sorority chapter there, and SCM will be able to AI into the chapter too.

This thread wins.

All elements are there:

*snotty PNM who thinks she's too good.

*Crazy helimom posts.

I wonder what's next?

Midge is going to face some heavy cuts early on, even with the "sorority meeting" clothes. Her past is going to catch up with her: http://www.amazon.com/Barbie-Happy-F.../dp/B000083E0C
