Mississippi Gamma!

Hey girls! Mississippi Gamma has just formed at Mississippi State. We had 67 girls on Bid Day and are now up to roughly 75 girls. We have gotten strong support from the Greek Community with invitations to dinner and events. We have participated in the ZTA Chili Cookoff and are getting ready to start participating in fraternity events.

We don't have officer positions yet, but we have all been assigned to committees and those are getting underway!

We have our first swap with the Phi Delts next Tuesday for a Phiesta!

So initiation weekend is upon us and everyone is so excited that we're almost there! We had slating Monday night and a good group of girls make up our Exec. Since the last update, we've had another swap with Sigma Nu (80's roller rink...super fun!), we participated in Kappa Sig's Charity Bowl where we placed 2nd in the flag football tournament, our new member exam (which everyone passed!), and formal last Friday.

The chapter has been going great and we're all excited to meet other Pi Phis and alums this weekend!

Yay congratulations on your upcoming installation! I attended MIT's installation in November and it was so much fun and very exciting to meet members of grand council and alumnae from all over the country, enjoy your weekend!

Mississippi Gamma! Woohoo!

Installment was a blast, very awesome getting initiated by the Grand President and see all the Grand Council Member, as well as the NPC delegate! So humbling! Having experienced this, it truly makes you want to stay dedicated because you see beyond the local chapter and members...we are seeing it "internationally"
