I am beside myself with excitement to let everyone know that I'll be helping at Pref for Syracuse on Saturday! I am so excited, I want to go right now! It's been exciting so far...700 registered, and obviously a few have dropped along the way.

Any news on UC Merced? Any pictures? Why did DDD have their recruitment before KKG and DG? I am curious how the colonization process works when they are all new. Anyone know?

Rho got quota +3 for a total of 45! It was awesome! If you are feeling like you need a DG fillup, then definitely go volunteer during recruitment!

Our recruitment was from 2/10-2/14/09. Quota was 12 and we got 13 by quota addition!

Feb 7-10 Zeta Theta chapter - 28 awesome pledges ( one of the largest pledge classes ever at CU). I think quota was 27.

I was at Chicago-area Founder's Day Lunch today and they announced that Northwestern Univ. got 35 girls (quota + 1) during Formal recruitment this Spring. Northern IL Univ. had 4 NMs join through COB this Spring.

It was lovely today being with the Collegians from Northwestern, Northern IL, U of Chicago, and our second-to-newest chapter at DePaul. All very classy ladies who seemed to be showing their DG pride on campus winning all sorts of awards and raising great money for Service for Sight and other events on their respective campuses. Northern IL won Chapter of the Year by their Panhellenic and also has the highest GPA on campus!

While I felt a little 'old' for the first time (this being my first Founder's Day in quite a while) it was wonderful being there and being mentioned for my 10 years (!!!) as a member of Delta Gamma. Our local Alum chapter President was also a member of my new member class, so it was great to share it with a chapter sister even though both of us went to school out of the state of Illinois.

Yes, does anybody know anything about this? There was nothing in the Anchora as far as I know. Did they postpone, maybe, because of the economy????
