How the hell are you able to consider a million dollar home if your house is in Foreclosure?

Why is she looking at 4 bedroom homes? If you're going to plunk down a million dollars of other people's money, it damned well better be a house with more than 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. I'm not saying 14 bedrooms, but if those kids become teenagers in that house with only 2.5 bathrooms it's going to be World War III.

ETA: I suppose she could stick some of the kids in that massive closet or the media room.

The best part for me of the story OTW linked was that they called her Octo like it's her name.

Has anyone made the suggestion that they just hand over the kids to the Duggars for foster care?

Her genes and their environment?

ETA: now I'm feeling guilty. I think the Duggars actually provide good care for their kids as religiously intense as it might be. I think we could start a pretty popular betting pool about what day Octo loses custody to the state. It's sad, but inevitable I think.

The number of bedrooms and bathrooms to the house really really really really bugs me. If she's a serious potential buyer to this house, she's making pretty obvious that the point of having octuplets was for fame and fortune if she's not looking at reasonable housing for 14 children.

eh, she is still waiting for that book deal or 2 million dollar interview to drop in.

On can still only guess how she plans on footing the bill.

I wonder how long it will be before we hear something of the words 'write off' pop up?

Who needs to pay the medical bill for the babies? Let's let the taxpayers pay for that! I'll use my million and buy a house that is nowhere close to being suitable for 14 kids!

AND I'll shop at Nordstrom!

This chick is really starting to piss me off!

So on Dr. Phil today he was saying that we should "help" Nadya. I was like "are you kidding me". Helping the looney mother, hell no. Helping those poor, innocent 14 children, heck yeah!

What I find so annoying is that everyone is acting like she didn't know she was having octuplets. My thing is how the hell could she not. The ultrasounds should have picked up the, oh I don't know, the 8 heartbeats. What was she in denial that she was pregnant with 8 kids. Especially when she chose to not have a selective abortion. This woman, as crazy as she is, knew she was having 8 more kids that she had to take care of.

What's even worse is that Dr. Phil said that BOTH of her parents when to her doctor and BEGGED him not to impregnate her, telling the doctor she could barely take care of the ones she had. What is wrong with that doctor!!!!

Oh, she needs help, all right. Psychological help. This train wreck just keeps getting worse and worse.

Those poor kids. I hope all 14 of them get taken away from Octomom and get placed in homes where they can get the love, care, and attention that small children need.

You guys, even the Duggars are like, "bitch is crazy!". But in a good, Christian manner:

I have to admit that I haven't been following this story until yesterday when I spent several hours in a salon reading a lot of rags. In one article, they said that 3 of the first 6 children have special needs (1 is autistic and they didn't specifically state something about the other 2). One of the photographers who went to her house said that it was an absolute pigsty and that there was food smeared all over the walls. Instead of curtains, there were dirty bed sheets hanging over the windows. There was very little furniture, but they had things like trampolines and toys everywhere. It actually made me so sad for these children.

ETA- She doesn't have cribs for the new babies yet, but apparently she goes to Starbucks every day.

It will be interesting to see if any of the octopulets have any special needs, too. Between the low birth weights and the fact they were early, it is likely that at least one of them will have something. Too sad.
