Bama Pi Phi/Cheerleader Dies
I opened the paper this morning and saw in the obituaries that Meg Ingram, a Bama Pi Phi and cheerleader, had died. And then I realized to my horror that she was the daughter of a guy my husband had grown up with and a woman I coached in college cheerleading. They don't live here now but Meg's grandparents do.
There were no details to speak of..does anyone know anything?

Hello there. I belong to the same Alabama Beta chapter as Meg and she passed away early in the day on February 1st. She was in a medically induced coma about a week prior to her passing and therefore was in no pain. Her funeral was in Huntsville just days after and as per her request every PiPhi in attendance wore pink instead of black. Meg was an extremely well rounded girl and a cheerleader not only for bama but also for all of her sisters everyday.

What a brave and thoughtful woman to make that request of her sisters, and even more wonderful that they would honor it. A reminder to celebrate her life.....
Deepest condolences to all who loved her.

Sorry for the crash!
I'm sorry that I missed this last Spring, as I would have expressed my sympathies. Her chapter sounds awesome!
Which makes it even better that her sister is now a member. Congratulations to all of the Pi Phi Sisters!
