Chapter: Epsilon Omega
School: West Virginia University
Year joined: Fall 2003
Status: Active
Why I chose Alpha Phi: I remember the first day of rush, waiting outside the Alpha Phi house. Every girl that stepped out was absolutely beautiful, and it sounds superficial, but I wanted to be a part of that. I was surprised that the girls were genuinely nice, and they were one of the few sororities that didn't talk negatively about other sororities during rush. What really got me was the Senior Testimonial during Pref Night. I don't know if every chapter does this, but it's when a senior gives a really beautiful speech about what Alpha Phi has meant to her the past four years. It usually makes all the actives and a lot of the PNMs cry. Anyway, after hearing the senior testimonial, I was 100% sure I belonged in Alpha Phi!

Hello I've lurked out here for a long time and just started posting because the Philanthropy board inspired me to "come out of hiding" and start asking questions and sharing ideas.
I live in Texas and joined APhi in the 90s. I love to hear about all the wonderful accomplishments of our 6 exceptional chapters in Texas and across the US and Canada.
APhi was the one for me from the beginning. I lived in the dorms and knew several girls on my floor who loved it. I never even considered another sorority and am sure it was fate!
