You could've made the same point by saying he is some people's Messiah or Jesus, without saying "Black Jesus." Then you would've just offended fellow Christians.

And please believe that I still don't find the humor in "Barack the Magic Negro."
Dude I stole all those names from the highest ranked talk radio station in America.

Guess there aren't too many listeners here.

Still doesn't make it right or funny

Jokes like that leave to professionals...

like Rush, Don or Michael Richards

And follow this warning:

"Kid's just because you see it on TV, don't try it at home"

"Dude"

.....lol

Please though, point me to all the posts that have led you to the conclusion that "race is always an issue" with me. Frankly, I don't know what you're talking about and I don't really care to look myself.

Just because I think he is a hack job politician who got elected because he told everyone exactly what they wanted to hear in no way means that I am not more than proud of my country for electing it's first African American president. It is a monumental day in our history...one that we should all be proud of. I will respect the office of the President, pray for him, and support him while in office.

Get off your high horse and go bug a tour guide. Maybe make fun of a fast food worker or something.......
Hon, you're not insulting me at all, but your unnecessary color comments could be insulting to others. No, there's no need for me to go to other threads to find other comments you've made. Does associating black people with "malt liquor" ring a bell? How about "brother man?" A joke? omg! What kind of jokes are those? I'm Greek and Italian and I find it very offensive when I hear derogatory comments about Italians. I'm sure some people of color find your comments insulting when you make comments like the ones you've just made.

Go ahead and keep bringing up my tour guide and fast food posts. That's nothing new, because you bring it up everytime you have the chance, and that's o.k. Let's just keep it even. Based your interpretation of my "fast food" and "tour guide" posts, you can continue to think I'm on a high horse, stuck up or whatever you want to think about me. Just know that based on your "Black Jesus" "negro", "malt liquor", and other unnecessary comments you've posted about people of color, I'll continue to think you're a racist, redneck pig. mkay?

You're too sensitive. I'm 100% Sicilian and I laugh at Italian jokes.

Are your shoes Italian? Cuz wherever you go, Dago. Say it aloud. It'll make more sense.

Lol thank you!

But really someone answer my question. All the money that vendors are making selling Obama shirts, hats, scarves, pants, shoelaces, thongs.... where does it go?

And you laugh at dumb Italian jokes...hmmmm.

You got a hubby?

Mind if I call him

Kinda funny (and not in a hehe haha sense) how the Japanese made money off of an Italain stereotype all these years.

Personally, I think this thread has gotten way out of hand. Seriously. For God sakes just close it already. When have threads on race ever gone smoothly?

It's okay for threads to stay open. People can either enter the thread or not.

What's your point? I know plenty of Italians who actually DO look like Mario. Actually I'm kind of flattered that they chose an Italian to be a video game Superhero.

If you have to ask, then you aren't paying attention.

PM_Mama00, if Italian jokes don't bother you, that's fine, but I find them to be very offensive and I don't take them lightly.

He's not racist. He just thinks the off-color jokes that he's repeating are funny. I wasn't too moved by "Black Jesus" until he proudly likened it to "Barack the Magic Negro." That is satire that is funnier the first time around.

On another note, calling him a "redneck pig" isn't any better. You're a white person typing to a white person but it's unnecessary to assume he's a redneck. Plus, the concept of a "racist redneck pig" is certainly a stereotype rooted in class bias.

Based on my threads and posts I've started and some of the things that I've posted on here, has given him and others the idea that I'm this stuck up, drama queen on a high horse. Well, I'm not. To me, his posts give me the idea that he's racist. He has his opinions about me based on my posts, and I'll continue to have mine about him based on his posts.

So what if I'm a white person typing to a white person. There's still a difference. He's a redneck and I'm not. He probably watches NASCAR.
