I'm with you! I actually like Jill. I really believe she doesn't do things intentionally to be malicious, because most of her antics are just fun that can often go a little too far. But, she's really a nicer person than we've given her credit for at times I think. In my opinion, she's a lot nicer than Ramona ...

Ramona isn't nice. And perhaps it is the Pinot talking, but she isn't "honest" she's mean. Or she has a drinking problem and is delusional. Pregnant at 55? Seriously? One of my friend's grandmothers had her period once a month until the day she died...in her 90s. At a certain point she knew she wasn't having anymore children. She was a great deal younger than Ramona.

Jill says things that we all say and don't get caught, but she's on camera. Do we all, hopefully, filter for our friends? I hope so. I was at an event recently when a friend showed up in a halacious outfit. When she asked me how I "loved" it I said, "I have never seen anything like it!". Said with confidence this has two meanings. If I were on camera it would have captured my different meaning.

I find the Countess cold, but I could deal with her. And Alex, class is a word that is used.

Bravo is delaying production on the next season of RHONY.

Curious. Will it meet the fate of the D.C. ladies or will they recast? Frankly, some of these women need to go (aka Cindy) b/c she offers nothing to the cast. I also wouldn't mind seeing less of LuAnn and Kelly. LuAnna is a condescending bitch & Kelly is just nuts. I like Alex but ban Simon. He's annoying & frankly, I don't think he's out of the closet. Lol!

Awwww, come on ... I LOVE LuAnn! Kelly could certainly go fly a kite, but LuAnn is the epitome of "class", ... and I love all the etiquette she brings to the show. While it may be over-the-top for some and offensive to others, I think her theories are very interesting and, I don't know ... sophisticated (even though they don't exactly to apply to our rebellious pop culture). I study opera, so maybe it's my love for the traditional old standard that causes me to adore "The Countess".

I thought it was out that Cindy's contract wasn't renewed and up in the air are Kelly and Alex.

Apparently, they're also letting go of Cindy Barshop.

So that leaves LuAnna, Ramona & Sonja. Seriously? The three less interesting women (IMO). Jeez. Unless they cast someone super awesome & interesting, I'm done watching the New York housewives.

WOW!! I can't even imagine the show without Jill, ... but Kelly and Alex annoy me, and I doubt their absences will even be felt.

They must have not been reading the papers. Or they're trying to find a way to put a positive spin on their firing such as it was a blessing b/c now they're free to go on to other projects.

Yeah, but when I read the article, ... all I kept coming across was that nothing had been "finalized" or there are "talks" about this or that. It was a very watery article, and nothing definite was stated. So, none of them can really say they haven't been fired. I guarantee you the rumors are truer (if that can be a word) than their printed statements.

I found Cindy and Kelly dull. Sonja was interesting at times, but not in that Little Bo Peep costume sans panties. I do miss Bethenny, glad she has her own show.

I get this feeling it really wasn't amicable and that we will see at least one tell-all. From what I have been reading, the women just didn't like each other any more. Just a guess, but I'm sure Jill would have still been on the show if she and Ramona were still friends.

I think you're right. One of the things I've noticed in Jill's interviews was that she would spill the beans about Bravo! editing her words, ... putting words in her mouth when she's talking about one thing, but Bravo! would edit the taping and cause it to look like she's talking about one of the cast members. I can tell that the Bravo! network does a LOT of editing, because you can actually hear the change of inflections in each person's voice when the camera is not on them. I don't know if they sign contracts before the season that they're not to comment on how things are done in Bravo!'s studios or not, but I'd assume that's gotten Jill in trouble. Now, the other two, ... Alex and Kelly, ... they're just not interesting at all. When they put the camera on those two just to focus on their lives, I want to change the channel.
