It was weird Nupes. We were talking to each other not knowing we were frat brothers. Last Saturday evening, my lady friend and I were eating at an Indian restaurant because I had never tried Indian food before. At 1st we were the only couple in there until he and his girl arrived. The host sat them right next to our table. He was talking to his girl about how hot the appetizer was, and I commented on it too, because we odered the same appetizer they did. Since we were the only two couples in there we all started talking and laughing, and pretty much having a good time. I introduced myself to him still not knowing he was a Nupe. After we ate, he and his girl left while we stayed and chatted awhile. He came back about 30 seconds later, and "hit me up" I replied with another "hit". He told me his girl saw my plates and said to him "isn't that one of your brothers?" He knew it was me, because we were the only two couples in the restaurant. I told him my brother pledged at Meharry, and was made by some brothers from Alpha Theta. It was kool how that happened. I should have known he was a Nupe though, because he was dressed smooth like one, and his girl was good looking too. LOL.

LOL. Yeah, when my sand's (kl5ub) went to visit my brother at Meharry, he met a Nupe from Alpha Theta who said there's nothing greater. Well, we say that at DZ too. We say there's nothing "greata" than Delta Zeta. So they were trippin' out about that. Small world isn't?

That reminds me of a story when I met a bruh from the Eta Lamda chapter at University of Houston ("SpaceCity Nupes"). A friend of mine had gotten in to an accident in Houston,TX so I traveled to HTown for the weekend to see him and keep him in good spirits. When I arrived, there was a few other dudes in there and my cousin who lived in Houston had introduced me to everyone in the room. After a little conversation with this brother sitting right across from me and learning that we had a ton of things in common; my cousin jokingly says "yea yall got more than that in common too!" He and I both looked at one another like..ummm what is he talking about? After a few seconds he looked me up and down as I did him.. then he "hit me up" and I replied..we gripped one another up and laughed about the whole thing. He later invited me to a party his Chapter was having in the Houston area that was off the meter ( Another Nupe Party ya know?). The love was unreal. Small world indeed.

Hey what's up PB, and Kappativating, I jus wanted to pop in and let you guys know how I'm doing. Well I graduate friday, I'm very excited and my prom was on the 8th so the school year is pretty much winding down, I'm actually out right now just waiting to graduate, but anyway, I just stopped by to show you a picture from the prom of Me [in the white] my girlfriend, her name is Zaneta, my best friend David [in the grey, i helped him pick his tux, I was gonna go wit the grey but they had it in his size not mine] and his girlfriend, Cayla [Who I hooked him up wit LOL] well anyway, check it out. The sent a Tie with my tux instead of a bowtie like I asked for.

What's up, Nupes? Just checking in....

Well, we had our Provincials a few weeks ago in Cincinnati, at the same time the AKAs had their regional conference just down the street from us. I had a GREAT time. My chapter brought four new brothers into the Bond, including a super legacy who's grandfather was the 12th Grand Polemarch. It was awesome.

We're gearing up for our annual Spring Sip, which will take place June 19, and we're also bringing in Midnight Star to perform for us. It will be the Sip of Sips. PM me if you want tix or you can check out our chapter website at www.kappacolumbusalumni.com and you can purchase tickets via PayPal.

We also gave four college students scholarships at our annual KLHSEF Scholarship luncheon this past weekend, and a young lady received one from the Silhouettes.
