I haven't had an opportunity to post on this site recently, but I'm glad I'm back in time to respond to this question.
My soror asked a very valid question, "Are you a Sigma Man?"
If so, then you should already know the answer to the question you are asking. If not, you will never have a "deep" understanding of what being a Sigma is all about.
Just in case you are truly seeking information about Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., keep in mind that our principles are Brotherhood, Scholarship and Service.
As mentioned before, if you were a "true" Sigma Man, then you would not have to ask that question about what is the maening of Phi Beta Sigma. Phi Beta Sigma is what you believe Phi Beta Sigma to be in your heart. If you do not have a meaning assimilated yet, then you never will. That is like me asking what does Zeta Phi Beta mean. That is basically saying that I was not listening to anything that I was learning or reading. If this is the case (if you are a Sigma man), what made you join Sigma? Did you do it because you believe in the spirit of Sigma and you want to carry out the memory of it's founders? Or did you do it because you thought that joining a frat would be a girl magnet for you? If that is the case, you have an issue. You need to sit back and think for yourself what the true maning of Phi Beta Sigma is before you come before an open form and ask a question like that.......
I am not trying to carry, you but this is not a joking matter
