I don't think she really LOVED either one of them. The only one that she seemed to have that "animal attraction" to was Graham. The whole - "we were friends first, and then it turned to love" - over, what? 3 months, tops, seems like a bunch of hooey to me. She wanted to "be in love", she wanted to "be engaged", well, now she is...on national TV!!!
I give it 2 months 3 on the outside.
After watching Shayne and British Boy (what's his name), I give them negative 2 months. I think they are DONE - it didn't even seem like they liked each other any more. Doesn't matter what they said, body language said it all. She nearly sneered when he spoke or touched her....

I don't buy that either. At the "After the final rose" show she gave him the same BS she told the other guys:
"Oh my heart is breaking and you have no idea what this feels like!"
"And I didn't know it wouldn't be you until after the one on one dates"
She could have at least used a couple of new lines.

And, when Jesse proposed and she said "I love you" she also said "I've waited so long to say that to you" If she'd been holding back on saying that for *so long*, then she knew a while ago, right?
I watched it again last night on my DVR since my cable, internet and phone all went out <grrr>. After Deanna's dad told her that Jason had asked for his permission to marry her, then she asked him if Jesse had asked too after his day with her family. She seemed really upset that he had not. Then the next day, he just happens to do it? It doesn't seem like something he would think of on his own and part of me wondered if she had told him that he should. That's just speculation on my part, but she really seemed to want to prop him up to her family.

I thought the same thing re: the I love you and the permission thing. When I watched it, I noticed how Jason had asked her father on day one. I know that Jesse was nervous and all when meeting the immediate family, but I figured he would have asked if he knew that's what it took to win DeAnna's heart. And when DeAnna found out that he hadn't asked... and then he just so happens to ask the next day?? Yeah, I'm not buying he did it on his own.
At at the "After the Final Rose" show, DeAnna's papa said that he knew that she had already picked Jesse. He knew based on the home visits... so I'm not buying her BS, either. And she is a big B*...
*on soapbox* I know that Jason joined the show on his own volition, but I think that she had a hand in keeping him and his son separated. Furthermore, she shouldn't have led Jason on for that long OR his son, for that matter. Once she went to Seattle, it made the situation very real for Jason and Ty. If she were a smart and compassionate woman, she would have cut him loose before then. I know that Jeremy had his parents die, and she said that she didn't want to lead him on anymore knowing his pain. But what of Jason's pain? And Ty's pain? They both had a woman walk out on them. And she basically brought that pain to the surface again by keeping him until the last minute. *off soapbox now*

I would watch it if Jason was the next bachelor. Would he do it remains to be seen. I don't think he'll have much trouble finding women but it may be harder to weed through them now is all. Jesse seems like a good guy so I can't fault DeAnna much on picking him. I liked the ring he picked better than Jason's. Did I see her picking him in the beginning though? Absolutely not. I was so sure it was going to be Jason, but that's why it's such great TV. Here's to season...14?
ETA: And eew to Shayne and the Brit. I soooo do not like her at all. And I definitely don't seem them being the next Trista and Ryan.

Maybe Jeremy will be the next Bachelor? He's easy on the eyes and I think he took a real pummelling too.

I'm fully convinced now that Jason dodged a bullet, she irritates me more every time I see her or read anything by/about her now. I think she did find her "soulmate" in Jesse, I think she's much more of a flake IRL than she seemed to be at first on the show. In fact, now I feel a little sorry for Jesse. http://www.deannaandjesse.com/

I agree, and maybe I have a dirty mind, but I found this photo to be kind of gross and not cute at all, for a "we're so in LOOOOOOOVE, just look at how adorable we can be" sort of website":

CutiePie2000, ITA about the nasty that is that picture. IMO The Bachelorette tried to "class up" Deanna as a southern belle, but in reality she's not at all that. Reminds me of the NASCAR date when Sean told her they had so much in common because of their redneck pasts and she BRISTLED. heh.
There's a lot of buzz about Jason being the next Bachelor, to the point of Chris Harrison going on the record about it:

Please no. I don't want Ty to be exploited. I thought Jeremy was an automaton for most of the season, but I'd rather see him as the Bachelor than Jason. Of course my first choice would be someone new.
The link above further confirms that the Bachelor will NOT be airing in the fall but rather at midseason. Which to me implies that they are not currently filming anything or about to - they'd need to be starting soon or have already started for a fall premiere. Which makes me seriously doubt the Arkansas rumor EW brought up.
Also, ABC has a poll where you can vote about who should be the next Bach (choices are Jason, Jeremy, or someone else):

Geez... please let's NOT pull Jason and Ty into another ABC saga.
Same with Jeremy.
I've OVER the whole "jilted contestant" Bachelor/ette shows.
