We do badge numbers by the number you are initiated in the entire national fraternity.
My badge # is 251105
meaning I am the 251105th member to ever be initiated into SAE since 1856!!

I think my badge number is/was 2055. My chapter is the oldest continuously active chapter in the Fraternity which accounts for the very high number.

Hmm ... good question.
I think I'm #996 of Theta Delta Chi, Beta Deuteron. Not sure the # nationally, though.

My chapter badge number is #1083 for the Alpha Iota Chapter of Sigma...that was 9 years ago (yikes!), so I'm sure they are up about 300 or so by now.
I'm on the alumnae advisory board for my collegiate chapter, and at meeting this week they announced the death of a sister who was badge #73...

My chapter is Gamma Epsilon, Alpha Xi Delta Chapter #76, and I was the 1063rd member to be initiated into the chapter. On my badge it reads 76-1063!

I am Bond #66 at the Tennessee Zeta chapter of Phi Delta Theta. I don't know what my national number is yet, and I don't think I'll disclose it anyways because I believe it does allow me to access parts of Phi Delt's national website.
We do use our Bond numbers in my chapter, but it's a source of fun, not power...it's just joking around. As in, when we're getting in a car and someone calls "Bond" for shotgun. It's no different than calling shotgun, ya know?
Recruitment in the fall is going to be interesting...the next available Bond number is 69, and it goes to the Phikeia who is "first chosen" by the Pledge Educator.

Beta Epsilon Zeta 356.
Cool thing, my brother in law is BE 349. Cool right?
I am now at Phi Upsilon Zeta and they are a younger chapter, so they just initiated 310.
