Your house corporation
Who is on the board? How is it run? How often do they meet? Do they do fundraising, or do they contract out?
What is its relationship to the chapter specifically?
I'm just looking for a little input. I'm revising our house corporation bylaws and certificate of incorporation so that we can apply for 501(c)(7) tax-exempt status. It's a huge pain in the butt which I wouldn't wish on anyone who wasn't being paid for their services.
At any rate, it's an opportune time for me to include changes which might help the corporation to do a better job. Any suggestions?
