I think how you reach out depends on what kind of assistance you want.
Since my organization is local, our fraternity/sorority outreach involves Board of Directors recruitment, donations for clothing drives, and man hours in our food bank.
Next year, I hope to expand that involvement and increase personal contact of Greeks to our mission.
I would suggest that you research with national GLOs have HIV/AIDS and/or children as primary focuses. Then reach out to their executive directors or program coordinators to engage them in conversations about how your org can enrich theirs.
