Well, I did flip back to see the very end and I screamed at my friend over the phone. I was worried last night when I was voting and kept getting right through. I'm so glad it turned out like it did!

I think the outfit was from the Dolly Parton Jr. line. Seriously, she looked terrible. I didn't like her hair or makeup, either. Someone shoot the stylist!

I thought she looked kinda cute - it had that "bride" feel to it - definitely not something you would have worn out in everyday public.
Though I did tell my husband we also got a shot of her hoo hoo when that camera got a little bit close. Ha.

All I could think when DC's commerical aired was "Please, no Archie in this commercial, please no!" Then when his aired it was "Pass the eyeball bleach now!!!"
Mikayla Gordon? Why? I actually like Matt Rogers well enough, but why do we have to be subjected to Mikayla Gordon anymore?
Of course the DVR cut off just as Ryan was saying "...American Idol...is...David..." *CUT*. Seriously. We were watching live but darn! Thank heavens someone already You Tubed it so I could see Cookie in all his glory. Simon certainly seemed to be jubilant at the announcement, wasn't he?

I had the same thing happen. At 10:05pm, I fast forwarded my DVR to end just to hear, "American Idol is David...." And then silence. I think I let out a whimper and my husband was cracking up. I also watched the You Tube video so that I could watch him get announced as the winner.
I'm glad he won. This is the first year where the person I wanted to win actually won.

I thought I didn't want him to win because I worried about him being constrained by the title, but oh my god, how cute was he when he won?? I have tears!
ETA: Aw, his brother at the end mouthing "That's my brother!" into the camera -- more tears!
