They take votes for two hours after the show ends in your time zone. I was trying on my landline and just kept hitting redial. I think the text votes determine the winner because the phone lines can obviously only take so many votes at once. If you get a constant busy signal, then it stands to reason that as many votes as possible are being recorded.

Last night the phones were open for votes for 4 hours. I tried and got through on my cell 7 times closer to 11:30pm.

Maybe it's just 'cuz I'm old and all, but I'm actually enjoying these flashback performances (even though most are here to push their new stuff out to market). But come on, Donna Summer, Bryan Adams, ZZTop and Graham Nash? That's good stuff! The one person I could DEFINITELY live without is that Mikalah girl though. Geesh, I'd completely forgotten about her. I really didn't need to be reminded.
ETA: AAAHH!! Cookie in his undies for Guitar Hero! did anyone else just see that?!?!?!
