Tough to pick a side on this one. I don't know if I should be mad at the studio for watering down the story or maybe buy into this conspiracy theory and be mad at the author for trying to alter peoples' religious views.
And this is different somehow from promoting Christianity to kids? Or Islam? Or Judaism? Or Wicca? Or Druidism? Or Buddhism? etc. etc.

If parents can't have an open conversation about these themes with their children, I have to wonder about what else they won't discuss.
