Can you post a link to the deleted scenes? I can't find them.

Twilight Outtakes
New Moon Outtakes
New Moon Extras (not Outtakes - they're like extra sub-stories, like Midnight Sun started out...)

You can tell it was rushed, especially the development of Edward and Bella's relationship. There was not enough Jacob. They need to do better with New Moon.

Isn't Drew Barrymore gonna direct New Moon? If that is true, then I doubt it'll be better, she isn't that great of an actress.

I don't know if New Moon will be much better. Filming started this month, and the movie comes out in November. That won't stop me from seeing it though.

You know - the more times I watch the movie, the more I realize what a terrible actress Kristen Stewart is. There are a few times (first to come to mind is when Edward tells her in the hospital that she needs to live with her mom in Florida) where she does nothing but stutter. While I think that stuttering is perfectly in line with the character the book paints, she mentions on her commentary that it's not how she meant it to come out, and she just couldn't think of anything to say.
There are also some really awkward camera angles that are either there because they want the audience to feel awkward (which is possible), or the cameramen were just not good.

I just finished the host. If I were her editor, that book would have been 300 pages. And her characters need to stop grinding their teeth so damn much!

I watched the commentary today and it really gives you a perspective on why some of the things are. Rob is a total douchebag it seem. Kristen just seems awkward, like she's not used to all this fame and is embarrassed by it. I've seen her in a few Lifetime movies and she was actually a pretty good actress. I think she just played the part of "awkward Bella" a little too well.
I can't wait till New Moon comes out, even though I was pissed through most of the book because of how pathetic she becomes. And I did fall in love with Jacob then. I can't wait to see what Taylor looks like in that movie!

I did! I thought it was the best movie so far. My boyfriend was even entertained (mostly because of the wolves).
Its been a couple years since I read the book but seeing the movie last night reminded me of how frustrating I found the whole Bella-Jacob-Edward love triangle to be. I liked how they did the backstories, especially Jasper's (loved his southern drawl!).

As much as I loved the first movie, this one takes 1st by a nose. The wolves looked awesome!!! Bella comes off as so selfish in this book/movie so she annoyed me the whole film lol

Seeing it at 9:15 Monday morning with my two sisters (one of which did go to the midnight showing and graciously agreed to go see it again )
Looking forward to it!
