Horse races at Casino Night - How to do it?

Hi everyone! The chapter I advise is doing a Casino Night. During past Casino Nights, many of the girls have felt like there wasn't enough going on. I was talking to my husband and he suggested getting a bunch of old 1920s-40s horse races on video or DVD and having a horse race every 20 minutes or so with a selection of movies to pick from as a prize if you guess right. I am so excited about this idea, but I'm not quite sure how to make it happen.

The problem is... I'm not sure where to get that kind of footage. I don't want to buy a DVD online only to find out it is a documentary and not really good for our purposes. We kind of just want the races themselves with maybe an announcer in the background and don't want it to cut to an interview in the middle of a race or only show the last half of a race.

Any solutions or ideas? I've been looking for something online via Google and ebay, but not seeing a DVD that would be what we need. I'm kind of hoping there is an avid horse racing fan out there that will give me a point in the right direction...

They do the horse races on cruise ships. Try contacting the marketing director of a few cruise lines and ask them where they get the movies of the horse races. Quite possibly, they are still 16 mm film?
