from everyone that isn't involved in greek life, i get "oh, so you pay with daddy's money to have friends?"
and then i explain to them that on my bills, it doesn't say "friends-$750"....the money goes towards other things, and i start explaining to them that i'm not in it to go find a cute frat boy...i'm in it to help the community, find friends for life, and to grow as a person.

basically, if i hadn't joined, i might've ended up thinking what the average person thinks...but thank goodness i don't!

I try not to get all serious on people, but you desperately need advice, so I'm going to help you.

Declaring that you "are going to be part of ______ organization" is in SERIOUS bad form, ESPECIALLY when it is one of the D9 groups. By doing this, you are very realistically damaging your chances of EVER getting accepted, and I mean this in absolute seriousness. It is much easier than you think to figure out who you are, and you are clearly not aware of this.

Also, we like English here. "muh fuh" is NOT English. It is monosyllabic crap.
