I forgot that we also do an MIT retreat! The sisters don't spend much time there, because the VP Mem's place isn't always very large, and we don't want to spend money renting somewhere for a night when there's free places we can stay. It's the night before the test. They'll play a game to help with test questions, then we'll have snacks, they'll make pledge class letters, then usually there's movie watching/sleeping/cramming for the test.

Speaking of MITs, we have four lovely ones at Lambda Psi.
Also, Rho A/B province day is this weekend, and I'm super excited.

So, we just finished up elections, and I am one of my chapter's co-editors this next year! What a great way to spend my senior year!

This past weekend was Tau D Province Day! Friday night the entire province witnessed the initiation of 24 MiTs. Ruth Siebs was the keynote speaker on Saturday. And, my alumnae group netted just over $400 from our Phlea Phlam booth!

I think a good chunk of the chapters in our province don't initiate till late March/early April.

I think most of the chapters in our province will be mid-late April. Our spring initiation is set for April 20th.
So I know National Convention was mentioned earlier in the thread, but now that registration is open…who's planning to attend? I really want to.

I want to, but my chapter picks the one person who goes. It's usually the President, because she's the chapter leader.

^^^Any initiated member can attend, you just won't have the chapter's help to cover costs. I've been planning go to (and have enough in savings), but since I've decided to apply to grad school full time it depends on whether or not I get in. If I get in to grad school, I'll need every single penny.
