Well...the vote was close for it but I heard that it got shot down. Our Alumni Advisor Mike Maloney is now the National VP so he'll fight for us when it comes around again..

What are you talking about? You know that was by majority vote, right? Therefor, "most brothers" were not at all disappointed.

Check your National By-laws, back in the 1990's they were changed so that it takes a 3/4 vote of the Convention to change the By-laws; Theta Chi is no longer a "majority rules" organization. At the 2006 Convention, more than half of the delegates voted to overturn Alcohol Free Housing but not the required 3/4.

Which is not to say that AFH is a a bad thing, just get your facts straight.
