HC I had to put this teacher at my daughter's pre-school IN CHECK last friday.
HC this woman interrupted an interaction between my daughter and I when I was telling her to do something.
HC she interrupted me, spoke very inappropriately to my daughter and told her to go into time-out.
HC I was completely in shock.
HC I got over the shock after about 10 seconds and explained to that heffa that it is not her place to interrupt me and discipline my daughter - while I am still there and further, I don't approve of her tone.
HC I continued to tell her that if she'd like to talk about it further, we could "step outside".
HC I have come to believe that this woman is racist.
HC many parents - and other teachers - have told me the same thing.
HC this is not actually my daughter's direct teacher - just another one of the teachers at the school.
HC I ain't havin' none of that.
HC I will be setting up a meeting with the director of the school and the chairman of the board of directors for the school.
HC you can tell she's racist just by the way she looks and interacts with the non-white children.
HC she has sent notes home to black parents saying that their hair was "too greasy" and it bothered her "allergies".
HC she's told other teachers that the black children are not academically intelligent.
HC I've got a thing or two to show her.
HC as a young child at an all-white catholic school, I went through the same thing with white teachers, since I was always the only black child in my class.
HC in the 3rd grade I had a run-in with this little white girl that called me a nigger.
HC I didn't know what a nigger was, so I called her a nigger back.
HC she went and told the teacher.
HC the teacher explained to me that "I was the nigger".
HC when I told my mother, she came up to that school and went off.
HC I understand how damaging it is to a child when a teachers do crap like this to us.
HC that's why I ain't having none of this mess.
HC today is a holiday, but come tomorrow, that teacher is going to be sorry she ever "f-d with my me".
HC on another note, my chapter had a wonderful performance of the Dallas Black Dance Theatre yesterday.
HC this group is always marvelous.
