My birthday is during the summer, ya would think it would be fine but no, was taking Chemistry 1B in summer school (8 weeks for 4 days a week, 5 hours a day). It was nuts. My bday was the last week of school, so i had 4 tests that week. So i couldn't go out. So I had to wait for the next weekend.

When we go, me and my 2 friends goto this bar/club called Rugby's. It was my 1st time actually drinking. So yeah. Started with strawberry daquirri, then shots of tequila, then a pitcher of beer. We were playing pool, dancing, having a good time. This guy starts dancing with us, so me being the friendly drunk, says hi, how's it going. what's ur name? Well the dork was trying to be Rico Suave or something and put his finger to his lips like i don't need to say anything, cuz i'm too sexy.....yeah whatever. So I get testy and say wtf, all I was doing was trying to be nice but u gotta be a dick about it so listen asswipe go away.

. Then the bar closes. So we get a DD from the club, he drops us off at my friend's house. We proced to do amaretto shots, then have some mudsides. So we're sitting in middle of the street like at 3am (no cars, its the country), drinkin our mudslides and me cussin at dogs cuz they wouldn;t stop barking. Then I spill my drink, so we head back inside, then we watch a movie, and I fall asleep.

Turned 21 somewhere in the ocean between San Diego and Victoria, B.C.

I swabbed (mopped) the deck (floor, for ye landlubbers), basically worked 16 hours straight on the ship, and had a square shaved in my stomache by my shipmates.

One week later, we were in Victoria, then on to several Alaskan ports - I made up for not being able to drink on my birthday in a big way up there....

I was stationed at Spangdahlem Air Base in Germany, courtesy of the United States Air Force. Back in my day the drinking age in Florida was 19 and once you got overseas the drinking age on base was 18. (Outside the base, the drinking age was when you were tall enough to belly up to the bar and say "Ein Bier, bitte!". Germans are not so particular about minimum drinking ages but penalties are extremely severe for DUI. Not to mention that if you got tagged for a DUI on base it was an automatic Article 15 (non-judicial punishment) and loss of on-base driving privileges for a year. That was for the first offense.)

So, it wasn't such a big deal coming of age back then, considering I was legal in several states at the time. (And ID checking was seldom enforced.) However, the guys in my squadron in the dorms 'tagged' me 21 times in the arm and then got me drunk to kill the pain!

Trust me, once a few years have passed and you can go to a supermarket and/or convenience store to buy beer without being carded, it'll be such a non-event that you'll be surprised!

My parents had a suprise party for me!

Of course, by that time I had been drinking legally for two years (yay Ontario)... and quite over the "excitment" of it all....

I started the day off by getting my new license! Then I bought my first legal alcohol purchase: a HUGE thing of margarita mix. My little sister in Chi Omega and I went to Applebee's to eat and had a Bahama Mama. Then went back to our place to start drinking margaritas. Then I headed to Old Chicago where my parents and friends met up and fed me shots. Finally I ended up back at my place and passed out...never got sick but had a hard time sleeping!

my 21st was last year....on a sunday....i went straight to BW3's, which is one of two places open to sell alcohol on sundays.....my sisters were out there for that and i had God only knows how much to drink out there. some ppl i worked with were up there, too, and they bought me shots that i still don't know what was in them, but they were good. and i remember telling these 3 possibly cuties that it was my birthday on the way out the door and one of them catchin me when i stumbled a bit. oops.

then we went to the red-neck dive around BG.....the travel lodge (yeah, i know....libra, don't make fun!!

), also known as: the sleazy e....stop the madness! but it was only me, another sister who turned 21 the day after me, and my old roomie...and then we ran into my favorite of ilovemyglo's exes and his two roomies where i proceeded to make a drunken A$$ of myself and not remember hardly any of it. apparently i called ALL my exes wanting to make out, i called guys i worked with askin why we either hadn't made out " yet" or "in a while"....OY.....and i fell out of the car as soon as i got to my house. some things i didn't find out til i showed up at chad's the next week and he pointed and laughed, and he still points and laughs when he sees me.....i would say what i did, but....well, you know....

i was apparently sick for 2 hours, but i only remember being sick for about a minute. still can't take a BJ shot without gettin a lil queazie, though....

After April 19 I will soooo tell you!!! But I expect it will be alot like my last few birthdays....being extremely drunk...but this time I will be legal....YAY for hitting up the bars and BOO for probably throwing up all the next day!!!!!

My 21st birthday was done true rockstar style..lasting a week and spanning 3 different states..

my actual birthday was the day after thanksgiving so i was home w/my parents in scottsdale, arizona..one of my good friends had come home w/me so that night we met up w/another friend and went out on mill ave in tempe...

the following night the three of us went out again to mill ave and a club in scottsdale

then i went back to school (in new mexico) and celebrated with my sisters..we went to bennigans that wednesday where we did the traditional 21st birthday paddle (someone makes oyu a paddle and you write all your drinks on it, who bought it for you, the time you drank it, and then you sign it after you drink it..basically just a way to document the evening..) i got pretty drunk, but not too bad..

then the next weekend my best friend took me and another friend to vegas where we did the typical vegas thing(gambling and drinking)

after all of that, i am happy to report i never once got sick, nor did i get a hangover

I went to Atlantic City and gambled on my 21st birthday. I had like two drinks and lost some money. mostly all of my money. I went down with $50, won some and lost some. I had a good time. I got to stay at the Ceaser's hotel so that was nice!

Well my 21st wasn't really anything special. I had to work from 1 til 10 that night and at the time, all of my friends were only 20. Now my 22nd was another story, lol.

P.S. AGDiva, we so need to party one day!

I wasn't able to celebrate with any of my friends, they all turn 21 after me, but my boyfriend and I went to Phoenix. We went to a club that some friends of ours were promoters for and drank way to much. It was awesome though, cuz my bf had told our friends that it was my birthday and they got a cake and brought it out, candles lit, onto the dance floor. After my best friend turned 21, we and our boyfriends spent a weekend in Vegas. It was a blast.

My 21st birthday was during RUSH! Wah!! So I just went out for dinner with a few sisters. I made up for it after Bid Day though!
