Famous People in Your Fraternity/Sorority

I am not the biggest county music fan, but everyone knows that our most famous alumna is probably Carrie Underwood.

Carrie is a very generous Foundation donor and she was also our keynote Convention speaker in 2007. She also donated tons of signed items and concert tickets to our most recent Foundation auction!

She got married over the weekend of Convention 2010 and several sisters were unable to attend Convention because they were invited to attend her (most likely super awesome) wedding.

From watching the Today Show this morning, learned that Megyn Kelly is a member of Tri Delta (Syracuse).

This one is famous by birth — chef and Food Network host, Bobby Flay, has a daughter (Sophie) who just graduated from USC (California, not Carolina) who is a DG. He was on “The Chew” today and they showed her graduation photo with her DG sash.

So Sylvester Stallone’s daughter and Bobby Flay’s daughter were both DG’s at USC the same time. DG Dad’s Day was a celebrity event!

^^^ I know a DG alumna from USC. She married the son of the former/retired CEO of Anheiser-Busch. I'm getting a sense that this chapter may have some connections to the rich and famous....

This young lady is a Kappa Kappa Gamma at Stanford University and is the chapter's PR chairperson. Her name is Maggie McGraw and her parents are Tim McGraw (Pi Kappa Alpha) and Faith Hill.

Actress Lori Laughlin (“Full House”) said on the Today Show this morning that her daughter, Isabella Giannulli, is in college and joined a sorority. She’s 19 so she’d be a rising sophomore. Isabella’s dad is fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli.

Anyone know details?

I believe Bella joined Kappa at USC just based on the fact that USC Kappa is the only USC sorority she follows on instagram, and they follow her too.

This is absolutely true. We talked about this in another thread the year she joined. My sister and cousin are alumnae of the MSU Zeta chapter, and my sister was chapter advisor for 3 years.

I was told that she went though recruitment using a pseudonym to keep her father's fame from influencing her recruitment. IDK if that part is true or not.
