White men in NPHC

I always refer to Zeta Phi Beta as the "chocolate zeta" and Zeta Tau Alpha at the "vanilla zeta". I wonder what you call a white ZPhiB. A white chocolate zeta?

Every NPHC organization has caucasian members. I think I know the frat you are talking about. He shot our pictures when our boule was in Cali in 2002. He is a good photographer.

I do not see the big difference of Black going to White or White going with Black as some people seem to want to make it!

Well, it seems to me that this question has been a topic in greek life for a long time.Now,there are many non-african american members of the NPHC throughout the "D9." And it was even a featured article in an issue of ESSENCE entitled: "WHITES JOINING BGLOs" during the 90's.SO WHY IS THIS STILL A SURPRISE????And Im quite sure that in this day and age many of you have met and "fellowshipped" with them at your respected regionals or national events.

And the the question of "WHY WHITES GO TO HBCUs?" that still is a question that I have yet to have clearity about.Because I graduated from a HBCU specifically, LINCOLN U.(PA) and there was 1 in my ENG.LIT class who didnt stay on campus at all.So yeah, "Why do some whites go to HBCUs?"

it depends on the greek organiztion. some fraternities are more open to other races becoming members. look at all five and judge for yourself.

Unlike what some of the non-D9 members would have you to believe, the D9 does not have a shut door policy to people of other races. My sorority has plenty of non-black sorors and I am proud to call them my sister no matter what their skin color. There are also plenty of non-black members of the D9 frats that I have seen out in the community doing service or strolling with their bruhs at a party. Take the advice that you were given by Senusret I, DSTRen and some others that gave you great advice. Good luck to you.
