I'm home now, so I just wanted to let you guys know that O was amazing!

I don't want to give too much away for those who havent seen it, but it is awesome.

It's performed entirely in water.

I will say that if you are in the the front row, be prepared to get wet a little bit from the splashing (and the clowns will want to mess with you a little in the beginning lol).

Next on my list: Viva Elvis sometime next year.

I'm going to Vegas in a month, and I'm trying to decide which show to see. I've skimmed through the thread, but I'm still not sure what to do...

During the time I'll be there, Mystere isn't showing. I keep hearing good things about O, but I understand it's more expensive. I'm trying to do and see as much as I possibly can over just a few short days, so I'm thinking I'd rather go to one of the cheaper shows.

Which leaves me with:

1) Ka
2) Love
3) Zumanity

Which one do I pick?!

I'm not so sure that Ka is on the top of my list, so I might just rule that one out.. unless someone here says it's a MUST SEE. But.. I still have a tough decision to make based on the two that are left. I hear Zumanity is great.. and the guy I'm going with loves the Beatles.. and I don't know which to choose! He left the decision up to me.

Keep in mind that neither one of us has ever seen a Cirque show before...

I would NOT see Love, unless you are a huge Beatles fan. It's a good show, but it is not the real "Cirque experience", in my opinion, so as a first show, it's not a good choice.

Ahhh, now I don't know what to do. I was leaning more toward this one, but I see what you're saying. I think one of the main reasons I questioned having it be my first show is because it is such a focused and specific theme.

Reading reviews online, there are more people who have disliked Zumanity than there are those who've disliked Love (that sounded weird), however, it seems that most of the negative reviews are from people who were uncomfortable because of the sexual content, and they didn't truly know what they were walking into. But me.. I say bring it on! I'll be in Vegas.. Things SHOULD get a little risque.

But now we're considering trying to cram in both shows... We can't decide!

Sorry :-)

When are you going to be there? I'm going on May 17th.

I saw Ovo on Wednesday. I no longer believe in physics.

KA

Please. pick that one. I promise you'll be enthralled, especially if it's your first Cirque experience.

I've seen Alegria (liked it) & Love (meh...). Can't remember what else, off the top of my head.

I saw "Love" in Vegas in August. It was a lot of fun - very different for a Cirque show.
