Yes, we took them. It was nice to have them (I think even moreso for our parents), but I don't know that it's a Have To Do for everyone.

We did have engagement photos. They were included in our photography package, and we used them for our save the date magnets.

Besides our wedding (and family/friends' weddings), we don't have a lot of pictures of us, so it's nice to have those.
