PNEUMONOULTRAMICROSCOPICSILICOVOLCANOCONIOSIS is the longest word in the dic.
The word might be "antidisestablishedmentarianism." But maybe not. But that's a pretty obvious answer and may be wrong.
By the way, what a dumb word -- being against the disestablishment of mentarianism. What the hell does that mean?
By the way, is the term, "useless trivia" redundant? Just wondering.

They do have an actual mascot. It's a pelican. I can't remember where I saw it at. I think on some of their logos the pelican and green wave are put together.
Pardon any typos, as I"m typing this on the eliptical trainer @ the gym...but Tulane only started usig the pelican in '98, my freshman year there. The old mascot (and only real mascot) was afectionately called "Gumby" because that's what he looked like. If any of ya'll are ever in uptown ywou can see an old gumby head at Bruno's on Maple St.

If it is the type of trivia that leads to millions of dollars (as in Who want's to be a millionaire) or free concert tickets (as in a radio promotion) that trivia is not useless to the winners or players.
