Tonight was only the second time I've ever watched it, and the ending makes me want to yarf. I love how they feed the stereotype that sororities are full of nothing but catty b*tches.

Honestly, if it's only the second time you've watched the show, you wouldn't really understand the point of the ending.

I know it's the point of her character, but sweet Jebus I just want to punch Frannie in the teeth.

yea, it's understandable because of everything else that's happened in the show. But it's still ridiculous and outlandish. It makes the girls come off as, not only as catty, but also as being completely juvenile. "Well, you used to date my boyfriend, and I'm not president, and I don't like you, so I'm going to ruin initiation and get my own house." ::stomps foot::

There's no hugging and making up because it doesn't make for good tv. But it also seems to be getting further and further off track from how sororities truly are.

College women are 18-22, of course there is going to be catty and petty drama. Ruining initiation and starting a new sorority IS extreme, but it's TV. But I'm sure plenty of houses experience internal drama and cattiness.

my mouth is still ajar i can't believe what just happened. It seems like everytime you think something is coming the writers make it even more realistic by putting in a plot twist instead of doing the expecting.

I hope Rebecca decides to stay. I feel bad about her Big Sis present-even though she has been a bit on the mean side. Maybe Casie will have one there and give it to her and that will stop her.

And question.. what happened with Max? After him and Casey broke up, he called his professor. I forget..did they establish what was talked about in that conversation?

It wasn't revealed, I was led to believe he was calling to turn down an offer from Cal Tech.

part 1

I also think Max is turning down Cal Tech to go to grad school at CRU and spend the summer with Casey in DC. I love Max!

I would love to see Calvin turn down Omega Chi after the stunt that Evan pulled.

On to Frannie---> that was so good! I did not see that coming. I liked how Casey was like you can't join another sorority it's against panhellenic!

For the show, I think it is great...going to be a good story line for next season! Plus, a really good cliff hanger. She got half the girls to leave the house!

part 2

breaking it up because it was a long rant/commentary

In real life, I think that "Frannie" would have put the time and research into starting a local sorority at her campus and with Evan's money maybe she could accomplish a local "club" she calls a sorority.

That is me trying to rationalize something completely irrational. The other irrational part is that it would not be a panhellenic sorority so it would not participate in Fall Recruitment. But, obviously this *new* sorority is going to pair with Omega Chi.

And, if I think about it ....who would really want to be in that sorority! It's make for a good tv storyline, but if you think about it Frannie is pathetic.

She was already president--she's staying a 5th year at her school to start a new sorority so she can be president again- really, come on!

It's going to be interesting!

part 3

Not about the show...

Off topic--
Personally I don't really care if Greek is not a true portrayal of Greek Life. Of course it's not 100% accurate. Personally people who want to believe a show is the real thing don't bother me. I know the truth and if that is what they want to believe that it their own ignorance. It's a tv show, no tv show is a real portrayal.

Does Law & Order accurately portray life as a lawyer?
Even reality tv isn't real!
So why does it bother people if Greek is a tv show and not the actual events of greek life? People will believe what they want regardless of a show or a movie for that matter.

As long as the show uses names that are not remotely similar to actual GLO's it's all fun. The language they use is even outdated i.e. "pledge" "rush"

just my $.02
