Dickinson College Recruitment
The schedule is up, as well as a new website! I'm proud to say that Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. is represented at my alma mater. All the orgs. participated in an ice cream social yesterday, and registration is beginning now (very early!).

NUBlue&Blue daughter #2...just waiting for her acceptance letter (fingers crossed) from #1 choice.
I will have a big, big summer. Daughter #2 has a fantastic group of friends (about 25...seriously!) who will all be going through recruitment, mostly at SEC schools, so I should have some interesting rush stories coming down the pipe. Lots, if not most, of their mothers were not Greek, so I get to be information central for recs, etc.
It will be fun...I can't wait!

It is my understanding that MIT will be transitioning back to fall recruitment beginning this year. Spring 2007 formal recruitment kicks off on February 1st, and I understand that there will be a fall formal recruitment during Labor Day weekend.
In my day, rush was held in late August before classes started. After I graduated, NPC formal recruitment was shifted to January/February, and numbers fell. So rush is being shifted back to early fall.

Great job on the list! That must have taken forever to put together. Just a few edits.
ZTA Nationals has an official list published of all our chapters (closed and opened) and Muhlenberg is not on it.
There's a few others on your list where ZTA is mentioned but we have not had a charter at those schools. They are:
University of New Hampshire
Oregon Institute of Technology
Richmond Professional Institute
For the University of Central Florida, Alpha Xi was founded before ChiO. Alpha Xi was founded in the early 90s (or late 80s...can't remember) and ChiO was founded in 1998.

The CSU-East Bay chapter of Alpha Phi was founded in 1987.

Hey irishpipes!
Great thread! However, one minor correction. My AGD chapter is actually the University of Hawaii at Manoa in Honolulu, HI. UH-Hilo is part of the UH system, but they're on a different island and (so far) have no Greek Life.
Fall recruitment is still TBD as we're still the only NPC presence on that campus.
Thanks again for that comprehensive list!

Holy cow that's impressive.
A few minor changes:
Monmouth College: Kappa Kappa Gamma 1870-? (I think it's 1878--same as Pi Phi, but would have to check my history book to be certain)/1934-
Iowa State: Zeta Tau Alpha 1926-1939/1970-1998; Alpha Phi 1977-1998; the ISU Greek website has Kappa Delta as being reestablished in 1905 and Pi Beta Phi as being reestablished in 1906. Also going by the timeline on that site, I'd guess Delta Delta Delta closed around 1894.
Simpson College: Kappa Kappa Gamma 1880-1890/1990-
This is an awesome list...

Minor Correction - U of West Georgia
Delta Delta Delta was founded in 1971 not 1970.
Rec. dates will be Aug. 30-Sept. 3 unless it is decided to do 1 day of Round 1 instead of 2 days.
Interestingly, the sororities founded in 1971 were on Feb. 27, 2 on April 3, April 17 and May 29. Exciting times.
There could be a 7th NPC added in 2008 if we get the new housing.
