Congratulations on your engagement. Good luck to the both of you.

I have had several chapter brothers get married. One of the things that we always do is sing "The Sweetheart of Sigma Chi" to the bride at the reception. (In one brothers case, it was a fall wedding, he asked members of another chapter if they would sing - 55 members of another chapter showed up and sang. It was great.)

Must have been an open bar!

All kidding aside, having "The Sweetheart of Sigma Chi" sung at the reception is very traditional and is quite moving.

My brother AND fiance are Sigma Chi brothers. From experience, my brother had a ton of guys at the wedding and several of them sang "The Sweetheart of Sigma Chi" to his wife. I'm sure I'll get it too.

I just got married in July and almost all 8 of my groomsmen were brothers. My bride used the white rose in our wedding combined with her sorority's flower, the daisey. We also had pictures made with eachother's groups. The wedding party gifts we gave out were also greek related. Also had the song at the reception. It was very moving for her family and mine to see the brotherhood that we had. People are still talking about it.
